“I’ve had a little over 20 semi-personal training sessions with Carina at Pro Fitness Network. I’ve found her to be a very kind, sympathetic, and intuitive person. I usually find it hard to talk to people, but Carina is so friendly and really put me at ease. 

She’s also a really tough trainer at the same time! The first few times I trained with her, not gonna lie, I felt like throwing up. I was coming from being a full-time couch potato, so it was tough. But over the sessions, I’ve become much fitter and so much stronger. She has also given me less intense–but still challenging–training sessions on days when I had less energy. She’s good at reading people, and I feel motivated to train.

On one side of the gym there’s two treadmills, two elliptical machines, a stationary bike, and a rowing machine. There’s also a cable machine, stretch cage, assisted pull-up/dips machine, two TRX bands, and lots of dumbbells, kettle bells, resistance bands, medicine balls, and exercise balls. I wish there was also a place to do some barbell training, but I’ve been impressed with what Carina has been able to do with my routines so far, and I’m still being challenged without needing to use the heavier weights yet.”

“I wanted some motivation to work out so visited this local gym and am doing semi-private training sessions with Carina. The price is reasonable and yet just enough that I hate to cancel. Carina, also the owner, is an energetic, friendly  but not pushy trainer. My hour session includes about 15 mins of cardio and then working out all my muscle groups. I don’t enjoy working out but with the inspiration from Carina and all the other clients, I feel safe and comfortable at this gym. Highly recommend.”

“It seems weird to rate a place like this on the same scale that I use to grade amazing tacos or delicious soup – I’ve been known to hyperbolically call those things “life-changing,” but this place really did change my life.

I started getting massages with Jackie about a year ago, when I was essentially at rock bottom with my chronic back pain.  I had already spent a year trying every treatment I could think of, but Jackie managed to do what 3 physical therapists, 2 chiropractors, 2 general practitioners, 2 orthopedists, a pain management doctor, an acupuncturist, and another massage therapist could not: she was the only person who could actually see the problem I was complaining about.  My first session with her felt like the turning point in my recovery: every other specialist listened to me for a couple of minutes and then just guessed at the problem; Jackie almost immediately went straight to the spot that was hurting me without me even telling her where to find it because her expertise allowed her to identify the trigger points and scar tissue that were ravaging my back.  I continued to see her weekly for several months and improvements came slowly, but I was finally heard; I was finally understood. I specifically come for massages, so I will not be speaking on the fitness center itself. Jackie is an amazing massage therapist, truly knowledgeable and very thorough with her questions before she even begins. She takes the time to focus on problem areas, really working through the knots and tight muscles. I personally had foot surgery, and she really helped to increase mobility in my foot, I would see her for a two hour massage every other week. Now, my foot is as mobile as my other foot, which I truly believe Jackie plays a huge part in! Def worth trying, and the cost is fair. R.A.
